Inspection of HAPs fugitive emissions
Purpose
- Hazardous Air Pollutants(HAPs) are very toxic which can cause cancer and other serious health impacts
- K-eco inspects the implementation of facility emission standards to minimize HAPs fugitive emissions in the process of industrial activity
background
- A Pollutant Release and Transfer Registers survey in 2014 found that approximately 61% of annual emissions of HAPs were fugitive emissions from non-smokestack facilities and processes
- In order to reduce the fugitive emissions of air pollutants, facility management standards for HAPs-emitting facilities were enacted

Purpose
- K-eco provides free Technical Support for small and medium-sized businesses going through technical difficulties and burden of expenses to detect and reduce actual fugitive emissions
