About Carbon Neutral Point(energy) System

What is Carbon Neutral Point System?
  • The causes of Climate Change is greenhouse gas of using electricity, water and gas. Carbon neutral point(energy) system is a nationwide voluntary greenhouse gas reduction system where if they save electricity, water, and gas in houses or commercial sites. they are given carbon neutral points and these points are offered as incentives.

Participant Reducing electricity, water, gas -> Reducing electricity, water, gas [Ministry of environment (Management), Local government (Program Operation), K-eco (Operational support)] <- Incentive
Paricipation conditions
  • The residence has a meter with a serial number so that we can check electricity usage. Otherwise, It is possible to check the electricity usage of the participants
Participants
  • personal: Actual user of houses, school, commercial sites
  • apartment: a 150-generation apartment, school, building in apartment management office, the head.

  • Comparing the monthly average usage with the current usage, the carbon points is given according to the reduction ratio each energy item

  • Usage by Standard Usage Estimation Formula of Regulations for the Operation of carbon Point System
  • Can be paid in duplicate with reduction incentives or retention incentives

Incentives
  • personal: Twice a year payment
  • Cash or Gift card is provided.
  • apartment: Once a year payment
  • Step 1 : Incentive based on the reduction rate of greenhouse gas(5% and above)
  • Step 2 : Incentive is set according to the evaluation criteria(greenhouse gas reduction, resident participation rate of the apartment)
