Water Quality Conservation Center for the Four Major River Restoration Project

In order to cope with the muddy water, damaged water quality and aquatic ecology which can be caused in the process of the Four Major River Restoration Project, K eco establishes the monitoring, prevention and control tasks.

  • Install and operate the Water Quality Conservation Center for the Four Major River Restoration Project to prevent water quality from being contaminated
  • Offer human resources, technical education and control support training to prevent water quality from being contaminated
  • Monitor/prevent water contamination by building the Water Contamination Control Information System

Ecological Toxicity Control System

The Ecological Toxicity Control System aims to examine the hazardous materials in the effluents of the industrial wastewater and to effectively manage their effect on the aquatic ecology. The water fleas were selected as the test sample and put in the effluent to see if they can survive more than 24 hours. Water Quality Auto Monitoring Network Management for the Water Source and Four Major River Project

The Water Quality Auto Monitoring Network is installed in the major streams and lakes by the rivers under the Four Major River Project and the status of the water quality is measured and monitored 24/7 in real-time. This is to prevent water contamination, and if contamination is detected, it adopts the prompt countermeasure. It is an environment monitoring network to protect the water quality of the water supply source.

Major Tasks
  • Install and manage the water quality auto monitoring network in 56 places of the Four Major Rivers water system
  • Monitor the water contamination via the river water quality monitoring system, collect monitored data and offer the analyzed data
  • Establish the early alert system to cope swiftly to the possible water contamination accident
